In an otherwise uneventful box office weekend, an interesting three-way tie has developed for the top spot. Clint Eastwood's Trouble With the Curve, Jake Gyllenhaal's End of Watch and Jennifer Lawrence's The House at the End of the Street all came in between $12.7 and $13 million in ticket sales, making it too close to call a winner. Official numbers will be released on Tuesday and we'll know who won the weekend by a nose.

Resident Evil: Retribution and Finding Nemo stayed in the top five, with Paul Thomas Anderson's Scientology-inspired drama The Master expanding to more than 750 theaters and coming in seventh place, just behind horror-thriller The Possession, which stayed in sixth place.

Next week, Viola Davis will kick-start next year's Oscar buzz with Won't Back Down and Cee Lo Green lends his voice to animated comedy Hotel Transylvania.
