Apparently Anderson Cooper wants to keep fanning the flames of his beef with Star Jones.

First, Jones rejected an offer to appear on the CNN anchor’s Anderson Live show to respond to claims she made about Cooper using his coming out as gay as a ratings ploy for his new daytime talker. Now Cooper is refusing to guest on the Today Show to hash things out with the former View host.

“I’ve got nothing more to say, nor do I want to be in a room with her. I’m done,” Cooper says about Jones on the Wednesday episode of his talk show.

Cooper says the Today Show tried to lure him on their program so the two daytime personalities could do battle but he didn’t take the bait.

“Don’t get me in a war with Star Jones now. I said my piece on Star Jones, I am not one to have a feud,” says Anderson. “She tweeted back something. I said my piece and then she tweeted me and I’m not responding. Actually the Today Show tried to book me to go on with Star Jones so we could tussle.”

Jones, who makes regular weekly appearances on the Today Show’s "The Professionals" segment, took to Twitter to swat back at Cooper’s claims. “Someone is a LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE,” Jones tweeted. “I would NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES agree to a ‘debate’ on my accurate statements…BS.”

It appears this story is far from over and may have another round very soon.
