Hotel Maid Fired After Asking Jennifer Lopez for Autograph
According to German newspaper Bild, a maid who worked at the luxury hotel Melia Duesseldorf was fired after asking Jennifer Lopez for her John Hancock. The hotel worker, Pray Dodaj, explained that since she had to clean on the floor Lopez was staying — and being a huge fan — she mustered up enough courage to ring her room bell and ask for the autograph.
"But I was rejected by two assistants at the door," said Dodaj.
Dodaj said the next day the cleaning company that employed her at the hotel called and said that Lopez had complained.
“I was fired right there on the phone!” continued Dodaj. “Because of an autograph!"
In response, Cyrus Heydarian, the hotel director explained why they fired the maid, saying: "She has acted contrary to the contractual arrangements and disturbed the privacy of our guests."
Reportedly, Dodaj has been offered a job at another hotel.
