Comedian popped for warrant on California motorcycle chase.
Katt Williams was arrested this past Friday night in Dunnigan, California, (about 40 miles from Sacramento)…this time for an outstanding warrant. The comedian was detained following a traffic stop.
Williams was arrested by Yolo County Sheriffs because of an arrest warrant which had been issued on Thursday out of Sacramento County. The warrant was for a reckless driving incident last month where police chased the troubled jokester on his three-wheel motorcycle.
In addition, video was released via TMZ of Katt hitting a man with a microphone during his time in Seattle at the Paramount Theater last Friday. The victim, Carlos Casto-Lino, filed a $250,000 lawsuit against Katt and the theater.
This latest development is one of several in the turbulent life of Katt Williams who, within the last few weeks, has been involved in a bar fight, is being sued for an “onstage meltdown,” and slapping an employee at Target.
