Move over Sean “Diddy” Combs's Ciroc, Shaquille O’Neal is about to launch his own line of vodka. The adult beverage will be appropriately titled “Luv Shaq.”  The former NBA star is planning to unleash the brand in early 2013. In keeping with the health-conscious bar-hopper, the vodka, which will come in coconut flavor, will be sugar-free and gluten-free. According to the New York Post, Luv Shaq’s bottle will feature an image of O’Neal with giant wings.

Luv Shaq will be produced by Devotion Vodka, and according to Drew Adelman, founder of Devotion the new liquor will directly compete with Ciroc, but “at a more competitive price.”

The former NBA center has been busy since retiring from basketball last year. The four-time champion has received his doctoral degree in education from Barry University. He also recently cut a deal to host a new Web video series for TruTV called Upload With Shaquille O’Neal. The series has been green-lit for a 10-episode order and will feature Dr. O’Neal and his comedian friends Gary Owen (Think Like a Man) and Godfrey (The Mr. Men Show). Moreover, O’Neal continues to produce his popular Shaq’s All-Star Comedy Jam.
