It seems America’s first family of music is starting the new year on the right note. TMZ is reporting that no one in the Jackson family will be prosecuted over the videotaped fight that occurred at Katherine Jackson’s home last July.

If you remember, the security footage of the incident showed that Janet confronted Paris Jackson and tried to get her cell phone. In addition, there was an alleged physical confrontation that pitted Randy and Jermaine against Trent Jackson.

However, the case is now closed because none of the Jackson family have spoken to police about the incident. In fact, none of the music clan members have even returned phone calls to detectives.

The family dispute was prompted by Katherine Jackson's separation from Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson for ten days without contact. The family matriarch initially had sole custody of Michael Jackson’s children but now shares joint custody with Tito’s son, T.J. Jackson.
