Friday Night Lights star lands three-episode arc in the television drama.
After two seasons as a high school student with dreams of becoming a football coach on Friday Night Lights, Jurnee Smollett is returning to the small screen with a multi-episode arc on Do No Harm.
The Jekyll-and-Hyde style series stars Phylicia Rashad as a no-nonsense chief of surgery whose star neurosurgeon suffers from a dangerous split personality disorder. Smollett will play Rashad's daughter in the NBC show.
The Eve's Bayou star returns to the big screen later this year with a big role in Tyler Perry's Temptation (formerly known as The Marriage Counselor). Kim Kardashian also stars in the film, in which Smollett plays a marriage counselor whose own relationship is in crisis.
