Lawyer claims the NBA player just wants to destroy Kim K’s reality TV career.
Is Kris Humphries threatening to wreck Kim Kardashian's reality TV career? According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Kim K’s lawyer is insinuating that that is the case… unless his demands are met in their divorce case.
Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser, in the court papers, claimed that Humphries' lawyer, Lee Hutton, wasn’t being honest when he told the judge he didn't tell her his goal was to "blow the lid off reality television." Moreover, Wasser implies that Humphries and his legal eagle have been threatening that, unless Kardashian gives them a monetary settlement and/or an annulment, they will "expose" Kim's show through the divorce proceedings.
Wasser claimed that Hutton threatened her and Kim, telling them: "The Kardashians or Bunim-Murray [producers of Keeping Up with the Kardashians] do not want that to happen.” Wasser went on to explain that most of Hutton’s deposition questions have to do with the inner workings of Kardashian’s reality show. Some of the questions asked were: "It's not uncommon for a producer ... to give direction to cast members during a particular scene, is it?" and "Can you tell me who gave direction to the characters for the “Bora Bora” episode on what topics they should discuss? [The episode in which Kris finds out Kim had previously been married]."
To Humphries telling the court he can't handle the divorce case during basketball season, Wasser says it is a lie. The lawyer explained that he has plenty of days off to be present for the divorce case.
