Kevin Kiadii attacked in New York City for being gay.
One of the young men accusing Kevin Clash of sex abuse fell victim to a hate crime in New York City, Page Six reports.
Kevin Kiadii, 25, was kicked and punched repeatedly Wednesday night in Prospect Park by five men who yelled anti-gay slurs at him and a pal, sources say. According to Kiadii, one of the men said, "I’ll kill you, f*****."
“I said, ‘You’re disrespecting me,’” says Kiadii. “He stood up and punched me in the face — straight sucker punch. It hurt.”
Now a professional makeup artist, Kiadii says it was a bottle of perfume, which he used as pepper spray, that saved him. "If it wasn’t for my Dior bottle, I’d be in so much damage," he says.
Kiadii is in the midst of a legal battle with former Sesame Street puppeteer Clash, who Kiadii claims sodomized him when he was 16 years old. Four other men are also suing Clash for sex abuse. The voice actor has maintained his innocence against the claims.
