DUI Charges Dropped Against Jeffrey Wright
Jeffrey Wright won't have to appear in court to battle charges of driving under the influence. New York police have dropped the charges levied against the veteran actor, who was pulled over in April and failed a sobriety test.
Prosecutors claim they dropped the case due to lack of evidence, though TMZ points out that they once said a sobriety test proved Wright was far over the legal limit of blood alcohol content.
Wright is a very prolific actor, with nearly three dozen films on his resume, including Cadillac Records and Ides of March. He'll next be seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
