Dwyane Wade's off-season drama continues.
Just days after his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches caused a scene in front of a courthouse over her dissatisfaction with the financial details of the former couple's divorce settlement, a judge has ordered D-Wade to hand over their two kids to Funches for visitation. Wade was awarded full custody of the boys after a court determined Funches could not provide them with a stable enough environment.
A Dade County judge denied the emergency motion Wade filed on July 22 seeking to withhold visitation from Funches unless she submitted to his demands that she get a psychological evaluation. The motion to withhold visitation was filed the same day Wade reached a $5 million financial settlement with his ex following a five-day trial.
Wade cited his ex-wife’s anger during the trial, and her emotional display on the trial’s fourth day — when she sat outside the court house on the sidewalk telling her story to the media and public.
Wade, who is the primary caregiver to the couple's two kids along with his girlfriend Gabrielle Union, will continue to have sole custody.
