He may not be an elderly Black woman from the South, but Larry the Cable Guy understands Madea. In fact, the comedian and co-star of A Madea Christmas often feels like he's the Madea of his own family.
"Every family has one, and should!" he says of the iconic — and often outrageous — matriarch, played famously by Tyler Perry.
In our exclusive interview, the actor also gives us insight into how Perry is able to slip so effortlessly into the character. "Madea is a big part of him," says Larry. "It's what he grew up with."
