Mark Wahlberg Talks Lone Surviver , Hip Hop and the Hollywood Hustle

The Boston hustler turned A-lister on his new film.

Mark Walhberg has come a long way from his days as a Boston hustler, hip hop artist and leader of the Funky Bunch, but he still keeps the street close to his heart.
The actor and star of the upcoming war thriller Lone Survivor talks to us about his life before he was a star, saying that street culture "is instilled in me." Though Wahlberg is now a jet-setting actor married to former model Rhea Durham, with whom he has four kids, he clearly takes pride in his blue collar roots.
Wahlberg, a two-time Oscar nominee, also gets bashful when we bring up one of his more significant accomplishments: making the list of Top 10 White Men That Black Women Love. "I think people get that I'm just real," he explains. "I come from the real world."
To see Wahlberg talk more about war, hip hop and make us a verbal commitment to reunite with the Funky Bunch at the next BET Awards, watch our exclusive interview below.
Lone Survivor hits theaters on December 27.
