MLB player pops the question with giant ring.
Evelyn Lozada had a very merry Christmas this year. The reality star, who is seven months pregnant, got engaged to her baby daddy Carl Crawford on December 24. Crawford, a player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, popped the question with a giant diamond ring worth $1.4 million, according to TMZ.
For those keeping score, that's nearly half a million more than the ring Dwyane Wade presented to Gabrielle Union last week.
"Carl was determined to get the ring of Evelyn's dreams," says Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, who designed the ring. "We arranged for white glove delivery to Carl's home in Arizona the day before Christmas. He wanted an over the top ring that would light up both the Christmas tree and his future bride-to-be."
Lozada and Crawford are expecing their first child in March. The Basketball Wives star also has a 20-year-old daughter named Shaniece from a previous relationship.
This will be Lozada's second trip down the aisle. The reality star was famously married to Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson for about one month in 2012. They split after the former NFL player was arrested on a domestic violence charge. The two finalized their divorce in September 2012.
Congratulations for the happy new family!
