The Suspect is a rare indie thriller that makes you think while also keeping you on the edge of your seat. A combination of a social experiment and heist movie, the film centers on a couple of Black social scientists who pose as bank robbers to understand the racial dynamics of small town law enforcement. But things take an unplanned — and catastrophic — turn while the "usual suspects" are incarcerated, but the real crime hasn't even begun.

We've got an exclusive clip from the boundary-pushing film, starring Mekhi Phifer as the prime "suspect." Watch Phifer get in the face of two cops and try to get them to admit their racial bias.

Sterling K. Brown also stars in The Suspect, which comes to DVD and Blu-Ray on April 22.
