Tracy Morgan has a new lease on life after being involved in a car accident that left him in critical condition, and now the comedian has broken his silence for the first time since his ordeal to thank fans for their support.
The 30 Rock star, who was released from a rehabilitation facility last week, looked noticeably thinner but upbeat as he left his New Jersey home on Monday. "I'm okay, I feel strong," he said to the photographers who were camped out to get a glimpse of him. Morgan also had a message to his fans and supporters, many of whom prayed for his recovery. "Love you, thank you very much. Appreciate it," he said.
Morgan sported visible cuts and bruises on his face and leaned on a walker as he made his way to his car. The comedian suffered several broken bones as a result of the fatal crash, which killed his friend James McNair. He is suing Wal-Mart, whose employee was driving the truck that caused the deadly impact on June 7, for negligence.
