Bobbi Kristina Brown Doing 'Significantly Better,' Doctors Say

Whitney's daughter is still at risk for brain damage, however.

There may be a small ray of hope for the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown. TMZ reports that doctors are finding some improvements in the 21-year-old's condition, which just yesterday was described as "bleak."
According to the site, docs say Whitney Houston's daughter is "significantly better" than she was a day ago, with swelling reduced in her brain and some eye function restored. Brown, who was found unconscious in her bathtub after a suspected drug overdose on Saturday, also shows increased levels of oxygen in her brain.
While all are positive steps towards her recovery, doctors are still worried about the extent of the brain damage the incident has caused. Brown was deprived of oxygen for two to five whole minutes before she was found by husband Nick Gordon
Brown's family has gathered at her bedside at the Atlanta hospital where she is being treated, including her father, Bobby Brown, and mentor, Tyler Perry, who flew in on Saturday.
In a sadly ironic twist, Brown's mother, Whitney Houston, died of nearly identical causes almost three years ago to the day. Hopefully her daughter will be able to pull through.
