Beyoncé and Jay Z Are Moving to LA
Beyoncé and Jay Z are ditching their New York digs for a warm spot in the City of Angels. TMZ reports that hip hop's first couple is all set to make the big move, and have even enrolled Blue Ivy in a new school.
Reportedly, Bey and Jay are currently living in a Beverly Hills hotel while searching the west side of Los Angeles for an estate to buy. Their areas of interest include Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills and Bel-Air. According to TMZ, the couple has already informally toured a number of homes, but has not yet made a final decision.
Though they haven't secured a new living space just yet, the famous couple already enrolled their 3-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, into a toddler program at an elite private school. While the name of the school will remain confidential for the privacy of the family, it has been confirmed that the tuition is $15,080 a year. Blue Ivy was admitted into the institution halfway through the school year, which is a pretty rare occurrence.
Sources close to the couple revealed that the family decided to move to California simply for "a change in lifestyle." They had been permanent New York residents even before tying the knot in 2008.
