Dionne Warwick Hospitalized After Shower Accident

The music legend was released yesterday.

Dionne Warwick, legendary singer and the cousin of the late Whitney Houston, was hospitalized in January due to an ankle injury following a shower fall. Though the incident happed some two weeks ago, news is just getting out that Warwick has been released.

According to TMZ, the "That's What Friends Are For" singer slipped and fell on January 24 at her South Orange, New Jersey home. She was taken via ambulance to a local hospital where she underwent ankle surgery. She was released on Thursday, February 5, 2015.

The report comes after the heartbreaking news that her famous cousin's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is fighting for her life after being found unconscious in a bathtub.

In fact, it was reported that the 911 call for Warwick came in at 10:19 a.m. on Saturday, January 24. Exactly one week later, at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, the 911 call for Bobbi Kristina came in.

The connection between the two eerily parallels that of their late relative Whitney Houston, who passed away three years ago in a bathtub in her home.
