'Hot Felon' Jeremy Meeks Sentenced to Two Years in Prison

The convict lit up social media last year with his dreamy mug shot.

Jeremy Meeks will have to put his modeling dreams on hold for a couple of years. The convicted felon, who became a viral sensation last year when his mug shot circulated the internet, was sentenced to 27 months in federal prison for gun possession, TMZ reports.

Meeks, 30, found himself at the center of unexpected — mostly female — attention when hundreds of thousands of people "liked" his mug shot on the Stockton Police Department's Facebook page. Soon after, modeling agencies began competing to sign him, claiming he could make anywhere from fifteen to thirty thousand dollars a month in bookings.

Looks like Meeks has all the tools to reinvent himself after his prison stint.
