Kanye West Explains North's Tantrum at Adidas Show
Last week, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West, managed to steal the spotlight away from her famous parents — not easy! — when she made headlines for breaking into an all-out tantrum at her dad's first-ever fashion show. Like a true doting father, West stuck up for his kid when cameras caught her misbehaving.
"Maybe she was just scared for her daddy," West jokingly told i-D after the show. "She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. Because she knows that her daddy loves the world and just wants to make it a more beautiful place."
North, 19 months, was dressed the part at the Adidas-Yeezy collaboration event and even sat front row with Beyoncé and Jay Z on her right and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour on her left.
She reportedly threw another tantrum a couple of days later when she sat front row at the Alexander Wang show, featuring her model aunt, Kendall Jenner. That time, North's outrage was the result of a photographer dangling a toy monkey out of her grasp, a source says. Totally understandable.
