Chappie Stars on Police Brutality, Humanized Robots and More

A movie about a ruthless, militarized police force is eerily relevant these days, and Chappie is just that. Though the sci-fi tale from Neill Blomkamp stars Sharlto Copley as a robot given human traits and then multiplied into a peacekeeping unit that wreak havoc on society.

We sat down with Copley and his co-star Sigourney Weaver to talk about whether excessive force is ever warranted by law enforcement and which of their own characteristics they'd like to transmit to a robot like Chappie.

Plus, watch us surprise the Alien star with the knowledge that many in the blogosphere believe her to be Michelle Obama's doppelganger. "She's a beautiful woman and I'm very proud, though I'm not sure she would be," Weaver jokes.

Chappie, which also stars Hugh Jackman, hits theaters today.
