The Daily Mail reported that fans left the event in droves after the Oscar winner was "acting like a diva" during the Q&A and autograph signing. One attendee interviewed by the newspaper said Spencer was rolling her eyes and refused to talk to her fans, even the tiny ones.

According to the Daily Mail, one woman stormed off yelling, "This woman is an ungrateful, nasty b****! I'm getting a refund on this stupid book. If she talked to me or my child like that it would get really ugly in here so it's best we get our money back and go home before something jumps off."
"Gotta laugh when ppl would acutally [sic] believe that you were rude to a child... at YOUR CHILDREN'S BOOK SIGNING," Spencer wrote earlier today on Twitter.
The Sweetest Heist is the second book in the Randi Rhodes series and takes the young detective to New York City, where they uncover an art heist.
