New Couple Alert: Ciara and Russell Wilson Make Their Debut

The handsome pair attend a White House State Dinner together.

Someone ring the alarm: it looks like "Ciarell" might be a thing, after all. After weeks of speculation, Russell Wilson and Ciara took their boldest step into relationship territory last night, when the Seattle Seahawks quarterback brought the singer as his date to a White House State Dinner honoring the Japanese prime minister.
The photo op comes days after Wilson pulled a bait-and-switch by bringing his grandmother as his date to the White House Correspondents' Dinner instead of the "Like a Boy" singer, as previously speculated.

But a double date with the Obamas — along with a couple hundred other guests — sure made up for it. At the event, Ciara stunned in a gold silk gown and straight, center-parted locks on the arm of an equally handsome, tuxedo-clad Wilson.
After first getting cozy at NBC’s I Can Do That wrap party on April 10, the fast friends then attended a Seattle Mariners game together.
Ciara, of course, split from her fiancé Future last year after she discovered he had allegedly been carrying on an affair with his stylist Tyrina Lee. The couple's newborn son, Future Zahir, was three months old at the time. Wilson's dating record, until now, has been far more low profile. That'll change quickly now that the star QB is with the R&B princess.
