According to Deadline, Universal Pictures announced the highly anticipated concert film is slated for an October 14, 2016, release. The comedy movie has some stiff competition as it is dropping alongside two other major releases: the live-action film Monster High and the horror sequel to Oujia.

Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain grossed a whopping $32.3 million on its July 4, 2013, weekend release, making it the third-highest live stand-up comedy movie in history. Universal and Hart have a pretty profitable relationship as the iconic film studio has backed the comic's blockbuster 2014 film Ride Along, which grossed $153.9 million worldwide. Their partnership continues with the release of Ride Along 2 on January 15, 2016.
