Terrence Howard's Divorce Now Includes Extortion Cover-Up

Things are getting uglier between the actor and his ex.

Lucious Lyon's antics don't hold a candle to the drama Terrence Howard is dealing with off camera. The Empire star's divorce battle with ex-wife Michelle Ghent seems to get uglier with every passing day. The former couple have already accused each other of abuse and infidelity, and now we can add extortion and witness tampering to the list of wrongdoings.
According to TMZ, Howard is claiming in new court documents that Ghent intimidated his brother's wife in an effort to cover up her alleged plot to extort the actor for millions.

Howard's attorney Brian Kramer filed legal docs claiming Ghent told Yvonne Howard she was going to blackmail the actor by threatening to air his dirty laundry publicly, and when she learned that Yvonne was on a witness list to tell the court about her alleged extortion, she started harassing her into refusing to take the stand.
Despite the animosity between them, Howard is reportedly trying to work out a settlement with his ex-wife that would satisfy her desire for cash and give him a clean slate to start over with his new family.
