Kevin Hart Invites Atlanta Fans Out for Spontaneous 5K Run

“This is about health, and challenging yourself.”

Staying healthy is no laughing matter for Kevin Hart. The comedian invited his 19.1 million Twitter followers to join him for a spontaneous 5K run through Atlanta’s Piedmont Park Friday.

Before pounding the pavement, Hart put a call out to fans tweeting: ”Up & at it...we are about to get this spontaneous 5K run in this morning!!!!"

To make sure everyone knew he wasn’t joking, the Real Husbands of Hollywood star tweeted that he was “serious” about the invite. “This is about health & challenging yourselves.”

Over 100 people showed up to the “Rally with Kevin” run, which was partnership between the 35-year-old comedian and Rally Health. 

Afterwards, Hart thanked everyone who participated, and revealed that he’s taking the movement national. “I plan on doing these thru out the summer in random cities that I am touring in,” he tweeted. “Let's see how big we can make them!!!!” 

 The Philly native will perform at the 2015 BET Experience, next weekend.
