The 2015 Emmys will be a showdown of some of the best Black talent on television, with many of our favorite stars going head to head in major categories.

Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis are both up for Outstanding Actress in a Drama at this year's Emmy Awards, with Empire's Cookie Lyon and How to Get Away With Murder's Annalise Keating competing for one of the night's biggest honors.

Uzo Aduba of Orange Is the New Black is also up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama (she won for Best Guest Actress last year), while Don Cheadle picks up yet another nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy for House of Lies. He'll be up against Black-ish star and 2015 BET Awards host Anthony Anderson for the award.

Bessie, starring Queen Latifah, and Nightingale, with David Oyelowo, are both nominated for Outstanding TV Movie, with Latifah and Oyelowo also earned nods for Outstanding Actress and Actor in a TV Movie, respectively. Meanwhile, Andre Braugher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) will compete for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy.

The Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama category features another showdown between Scandal and HTGAWM, with Khandi Alexander and Cicely Tyson, respectively, nominated.

Regina King (American Crime), Angela Bassett (American Horror Story: Freak Show) and Mo'Nique (Bessie) will compete for Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. And lastly (but not least-ly), Neicy Nash has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy for her role on Getting On.
