Newly-Released Bill Cosby Deposition Confirms the Worst Rumors

Sitcom star admits to paying off women and more in explosive documents.

A new deposition has been released from the 2005 lawsuit brought against Bill Cosby by Andrea Constand, and it confirms some of the worst rumors about the fallen icon's predatory nature with young women.
According to New York Times, who obtained the document that has been sealed for 10 years, Cosby admitted to using drugs to "relieve stress" and have sexual encounters — though not always intercourse — with several young women, and that he paid many off after the fact. He also admits to using slimy tactics to attract women, like feigning interest in one young lady's father's cancer.

The deposition further reveals Cosby's unsettling perspective on seduction and consent. In one instance, he described Constand, who ultimately sued Cosby for sex abuse, as having a "glow" after their sexual encounter. He also claimed he used "nonverbal cues" to determine whether or not a woman consented to have sex with him. “I think I’m a pretty decent reader of people and their emotions in these romantic sexual things, whatever you want to call them,” he said.
