Another Sad Love Song: Anthony Hamilton and Wife Tarshá File for Divorce
Anthony Hamilton and his wife, Tarshá Hamilton, are divorcing after 10 years together, the couple confirmed in a statement on Tuesday. The R&B singers didn't give a reason for their split, but it sounds relatively amicable.
“Tarshá and Anthony’s greatest priorities are loving and raising their three children and are committed to co-parenting together,” the statement reads. A representative for Tarshá also confirms that the two will continue working together, specifically on her debut album, Sounds Like Tarshá, due out this year.
The couple met 12 years ago when Tarshá auditioned to be Anthony's backup dancer. They tied the knot after two years of dating and have three sons together. She also has three more sons from a previous relationship.
Nothing fuels a good R&B song like pain, so hopefully these two can channel theirs into their music. Watch Hamilton perform with Gary Clark Jr. at this year's BET Awards:
