Azealia Banks Reportedly Punched and Clawed on Delta Flight

The rapper also hurled an anti-gay slur.

Azealia Banks's reputation definitely precedes her, but what the world wasn't aware of was that the rapper — who, interestingly enough, identifies as "sexually fluid" — was a homophobe. This was made public when the "Chasing Time" MC got into it with a flight attendant, calling him a "f*****g f****t" during a heated exchange that was all caught on tape.

A passenger who sat next to Banks on the Delta flight dished the deets on the fight to TMZ. According to the report, the flight from New York to LAX landed shortly before 1:00 am on Tuesday. The rapper then made a rush for the front door since she was sitting in seat 6A, next to a French couple in the third row. The couple apparently blocked her exit while they unloaded their luggage from the overhead bin.

The witness said that the MC tried to wiggle by the couple when the French man put his hand out, resulting in Banks going off. Things reportedly escalated even further when she spat in his face, punched him in the face and clawed at his shirt. When the crew noticed what was going on, a flight attendant tried to grab Banks's bag and told her to "calm down." The eyewitness said that riled the rapper up even more, causing her to lose her balance, fall to the seat, stand up and try to snatch her luggage from the flight attendant's hands. As seen in the video, a tug-of-war then ensued.

Banks can be heard repeatedly saying, "Give me my bag," to which the flight attendant constantly responds, "No." She eventually calls him a "f*****g f****t," a homophobic slur, before the co-pilot comes out to tell her the police were on their way. She then ran off the plane, dropping her cell phone as she exited.

The rapper's homophobic outburst has many fans scratching their heads as she reportedly identifies as bisexual. During an interview with the New York Times in 2012, she came out to the world. "Ms. Banks considers herself bisexual, but, she said: 'I'm not trying to be, like, the bisexual, lesbian rapper. I don't live on other people's terms,'" it read.

So what's the deal, Azealia? We really want to know.
