Looks like Anthony Anderson's marriage is going on permanent hiatus. The Black-ish star reportedly has split from his wife after 20 years of marriage.

According to TMZ, Alvina, who was Anderson's high school sweetheart, filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The couple share two children — a son, 15 and daughter, 19. She is asking for joint legal custody of their minor, and spousal support.

Observant fans might have noticed that the estranged couple haven't been seen together all that much lately. The last time the pair were spotted was at an event was in February 2014, and she did not accompany her husband to the 2015 Emmy Awards, where he was nominated for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy.

However, that hasn't slowed the demand for them to keep their marriage in tact. "Y'all need to get y'all s**t together!!! 20 years...20 gottd**n years. You better not be with a white woman either," one fan commented on his Instagram.

At least, for sure, Anderson's TV family remains intact. Black-ish just kicked off season two with its ballsiest, most buzz-worthy episode ever: exploring the complexities of the n-word.
