Eddie Murphy is gearing up to be a dad again. The actor and comedy icon is expecting a baby with girlfriend Paige Butcher, his rep has confirmed. This will be the first child for the couple, but Eddie's ninth.
Murphy, 54, and Butcher, 36, have been a couple for four years. Though they usually prefer to stay out of the spotlight, Butcher did accompany Murphy to receive his Mark Twain Prize for Humor last month in New York City. 
The performer is already dad to 26-year-old Eric, with Paulette McNeely, and 25-year-old Christian, with Tamara Hood. He has five additional kids with ex-wife Nicole Murphy — Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15, and Bella, 13. His youngest is 8-year-old Angel, with former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. He was also the subject of paternity claims by 30-year-old "Brando" Murphy, who later admitted his insistence that Murphy was his father was a publicity stunt.
