Glory Johnson Can't Stop Talking About Brittney Griner

The former WNBA star is still in her feelings about the split.

WNBA stars Glory Johnson and Brittney Griner have had a tough year after their short-lived marriage and ugly split. The couple married back in May just weeks after a domestic dispute that led to their arrest. Soon after, they learned that Johnson was pregnant with twins. Now, Johnson — who recently lost a bid for thousands of dollars a month in spousal and child support — has opened up to Cosmopolitan about how she feels about her ex.
Regardless of Griner and Johnson’s failed relationship, Glory admits she still cares about her former partner. “After all the things that she put me and my family through, I should hate this person," she said. "But at the end of the day, I still worry about how she's taking all this.”
Johnson reflected on their relationship and said she married for love and “followed her heart," and that she married "the person [she] was supposed to be with." She admitted she pushed forward with their wedding even after their domestic dispute because, “you work things out and fight for what you love.”
Sadly, this is one fight that Johnson didn't win, but at least now she can focus on her twin daughters rather than her failed relationship with Brittney.
