Yandy Smith Responds to Her Husband Going to Prison
News just broke that Love & Hip Hop New York star Mendeecees Harris will spend eight years behind bars for drug trafficking, and now his wife and co-star Yandy Smith is speaking out.
Taking to Instagram, Smith thanked their fans for their support and well wishes, reassuring them that they were "prepared" for this moment are relieved to "finally have closure."
Mendeecees and Yandy married earlier this year in a televised ceremony on VH1 titled Love & Hip Hop Love: The Wedding. When he begins his prison sentence, Mendeecees will also leave behind four children: three boys and a girl.
