Lark Voorhies's Rep Says Lupus Confession Was an Instagram Hoax

The actress is apparently doing just fine.

Lark Voorhies is having a social media problem. Last week, the actress shared a heartfelt open letter on Instagram, in which she confessed that an eight-year battle with Lupus is the reason for her altered appearance. Well, turns out she was hacked.
“Lark has never been diagnosed with lupus. It’s upsetting her that people are coming out about it,” Lark‘s rep told People.com. “She doesn’t want to be perceived as someone faking an illness.”
Apparently, there are several unverified accounts under the Saved by the Bell star's name, and hackers are using them to put all sorts of words in her mouth. Last month, a nasty rant against her ex-husband, Jimmy Green, was attributed to her.
And the problem doesn't stop at Instagram. Her rep revealed, “Somebody has hacked her Twitter account to the point she is shutting it down.”
Whomever is hacking into Lark's social media really crossed the line with the Lupus post. Sadly, it's a disease that many have to cope with every day. Watch Toni Braxton talk about her life with Lupus in the interview below:
