Twitter Blasts Kanye's Ex for Trying to Shade Kim Kardashian

Alexis Phifer tried, and failed.

Kim Kardashian is usually an easy target for shade, but designer Alexis Phifer — better known as Kanye West's former fiancée — really missed the mark when she tried to put Mrs. West on blast for stealing her style.
Phifer posted a split image pic to Instagram earlier today, herself rocking a pair of clear strappy heels on the left and Kim wearing the same shoes on the right. "Hmmm them clear shoes looking real familiar," she captioned the snap. She later deleted the Kim side of the photo and changed the caption, leaving only this:

A quick look at her mentions makes it clear why she backed off of Kim. Rather than delight in the shade, as Twitter commenters usually do, they turned right around to remind Alexis that she doesn't have exclusivity over the shoes:

Well, dayum. Phifer's comparison was admittedly a little ridiculous, but Twitter's response was really harsh. But the fashion designer, who has for the most part laid low since her breakup with 'Ye, seems to be coming out of the woodworks lately. She even had a sly response to Amber Rose's "booty fingers" comment last month:

Meanwhile, Yeezy has clearly moved on and is more in love with his wife and mother of his children than ever. Check out the highlights of his Yeezy Season 3 show and album release at Madison Square Garden, below:
