Why Is Blac Chyna's Mother Afraid of Rob Kardashian?

Shalana Hunter shares her concerns.

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s relationship went from WTF to AWW in record time, with even the couple's closest friends and exes co-signing the union. “Everything about [Rob] has changed,” one friend said of Chyna's influence on the formerly reclusive star. But one person who is still giving the couple major side-eye is Chyna's mother Shalana Hunter.

Hunter, also known as Tokyo Toni, tells the Daily Mail that she is quite concerned with her daughter dating the sole male Kardashian and addressed comments that her daughter could have a negative impact on Rob’s life. “He’s a f****ing Kardashian, what influence can she have on him?” she said. “I don’t get it. He’s a grown man…As far as I am concerned he could be a bad influence on her.”

As far as Hunter is concerned, Rob is just the latest in a string of questionable relationships her daughter has been in. “I don’t know if he is going to be any better for her than Tyga," she adds, "But she is a good person and deserves to be happy.”

The overprotective mom does, however, insist that her daughter and Kardashian haven't moved in together. “They are not living together…Blac has never said, ‘Mom we are living together,'" she insists.

Hunter maintains that she could change her mind about Rob if she has the chance to meet him face-to-face. “After I meet him that’s another story, but right now I just don’t know, I will have to come around to it,” she says, adding that she will “stick behind my daughter whatever she does, one thousand percent.”
