She will be teaming up with the writer of Frozen on the new project.

Ava DuVernay is bringing her amazingness to the folks over at Disney as she is set to direct a film adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time.

According to Deadline, the Selma director is joining forces with Frozen writer/co-director Jennifer Lee to bring the Madeleine L'Engle 1963 fantasy novel to the big screen. The film will follow a teenage heroine who embarks on an adventure to find her father, a government scientist, who mysteriously vanishes.

This isn't all that Ava has on her plate. She is also currently in talks to direct the sci-fi film Intelligent Life with Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, and is already in pre-production on the upcoming OWN series Queen Sugar.
