Nick Gordon's Lawyers Clap Back at Bobby Brown

The two have been feuding ever since the passing of Bobbi Kristina.

Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy results were released last week, reopening the wounds for those closest to the music scion. A few days after her father, Bobby Brown, blasted the media for seeking access to the autopsy when an investigation into her death is ongoing, the target of that investigation — Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend, Nick Gordon — is speaking out.
Gordon's attorneys released a statement on Tuesday, claiming once again that Gordon is innocent of both murder and wrongful death charges. In fact, Gordon's attorney Jose Baez, says, he "tried to save Bobbi Kristina's life."
"Nick Gordon's life has been tumultuous since January of 2015 when he lost the love of his life," Gordon's attorneys, Jose Baez and Joe Habachy, said in a statement. "On top of being prohibited from visiting Bobbi Kristina at the hospital for the last six months of her life, Nick has been publicly humiliated for more than a year. And throughout that time, the Fulton County District Attorney's office has tried to make Nick a murderer despite having clear and convincing evidence that Bobbi Kristina's death was nothing more than a tragic accident."
While the statement doesn't name Bobby Brown specifically, it clearly references the issues Gordon and Brown have had since Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized last January. And Brown alluded to the ongoing investigation against Gordon, including the wrongful death lawsuit filed against him by Bobbi Kristina's estate, in his statement following the release of her autopsy results.

The grim report revealed Bobbi Kristina's cause of death to be nearly identical to her mother, Whitney Houston, in 2011. Like her mother, Bobbi Kristina died drowning while using a variety of drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, anti-anxiety medications and possibly heroin.
It's still not clear whether foul play was a factor or how and if this will affect the ongoing investigation into Gordon, who has remained a "person of interest" since the 22-year-old music scion was first found face down in her bathtub on January 31, 2015.
Among the things Gordon is accused of in the wrongful death suit are poisoning Bobbi Kristina with a "toxic cocktail" of drugs and inflicting traumatic physical abuse the night before she was found unconscious. As of now, no criminal charges have been filed against Gordon.
