Not Loyal? Kelly Ripa Is Mad as Hell at Michael Strahan!

She didn't even show up to work today.

Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa's "breakup" looks like it's far from amicable. A day after Strahan announced he'd be leaving their morning talk show LIVE With Kelly and Michael for a full-time position at Good Morning America, sources say that Ripa is mad as hell and lashing out at the network over his departure.

Apparently, Ripa received a call from ABC bosses that Strahan would be leaving the show at the same time it was announced to the public. What's more, Ripa seems to be getting a clear signal that her long-running show is not a priority for the network or its parent company, Disney, and that there are rumors of bumping LIVE a full hour, to 10 a.m., in order to give Michael and GMA a whole extra hour in the morning.
Ripa is so upset at the shade that she was a no-show at work this morning — kind of a problem considering it's a live morning show. According to sources, Ripa plans to call in sick a lot in the near future.

Strahan, who's been Ripa's sidekick on LIVE since 2012, will begin his full-time hosting duties on GMA in September. “My time with LIVE With Kelly and Michael has been transformative, and my departure will be bittersweet," he said yesterday in a statement. "Kelly has been an unbelievable partner, and I am so thankful to her and the entire team."

Sounds like the feeling is not at all mutual.
