Doggonit, the dogs do it again!

"Beverly Hills Chihuaha," which opened last week in the No. 1 spot barked its way back to the top spot in its second week of release, taking in $17.5 million. The dogs were followed by "Quarantine," "Body of Lies," "Eagle Eye" and "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" in the Top 5.

Coming in at No. 6 was the poignant drama inspired by Ernie Davis' life story, "The Express." The film, starring Rob Brown, Charles S. Dutton and Dennis Quaid , earned only $4.7 million. Brown plays Davis, the first black man to win college football's coveted Heisman Trophy.

Rounding out the Top 10 were: "Nights in Rodanthe," "Appaloosa," "The Duchess" and "City of Ember."
