A couple of Hollywood heavyweights are trying to convince a pair of Hollywood heavyweights to appear in their movies.
Steven Spielberg and Sylvester Stallone have pegged Will Smith and Forest Whitaker, respectively for future movie projects.
Spielberg, who has never worked with Smith before, is currently negotiating with Smith to get him to star in "Oldboy," a remake of Chan Wook-park's 2003 thriller about a Korean man who is kidnapped and held for 15 years without reason. He seeks revenge after his sudden release.
The Oscar-winning Whitaker has been tabbed by Stallone to star in "The Expendables," a flick about a devious CIA agent who is involved in a plot to topple the dictator of a Latin American country.
Jason Statham and Jet Li are attached to star alongside Stallone in the film.
