Actress Gabrielle Union is at that age when folks are starting to wonder. Responding to questions about whether motherhood is in her near future, the 35-year-old divorcee told WENN that, "Right now I don't have the same urges as other women when they see a baby. When I see children I see responsibilities, which I don't think I'm quite ready for."
And don't expect her to go out and adopt a little furry friend to fill the void either.
"I feel the same about puppies," she said. "They're cute for a second but there's a lot of responsibility involved."
You can catch Union this week in "Meet Dave," opposite Eddie Murphy--I don't think anyone has high hopes for this one--but she'll also be in the much-anticipated 'Cadillac Records" film starring Jeffrey Wright, Beyonce, Mos Def, Adrien Brady, Columbus Short and Cedric the Entertainer. It's the story of the rise of Chess Records. Union plays Geneva Wade, the wife of Muddy Waters (Wright).
