Mos Def, one of Hollywood's most successful raptors, has entered into a deal that could make him an even bigger star.

Garden Grown, the production company of the Brooklyn-born entertainer has joined forces with  Dubai-based Exwaze and Hollywood-based Hughes Capital Entertainment to produce a film called "The Fabulous Moulin Rouge," which will be shot in Dubai.

According to Variety, the story focuses on the Moulin Rouge as the first desegregated hotel and casino in Las Vegas. It features an African American character who goes from collecting debts for the mob to running the casino.

No word yet on whether Mos Def will play the lead. He'll next be seen in "Cadillac Records," the story of Chess Records. He'll play Chuck Berry. He last appeared in the flop "Be Kind, Rewind."
