The power of the Internet has helped director/writer Tim Alexander realize his dream.
Alexander's mega-popular "Diary of A Tired Black Man" went viral on the net and now Magnolia Pictures has picked it up for a February 2009 release.
The film, which is the black man's answer to "Waiting to Exhale" and "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," stars Jimmy Jean-Louis ("Heroes") as a brother who is pupportedly trying to do the right thing with jaded sisters who won't give him a chance to prove his worth.
Since there's nothing worse than an angry sister, what's a brother to do? Well, for one, he tries dating outside of his race.
I've seen this film and it's rather delightful. It will, however, make some sisters mad. Brothers, however, will be rejoicing for days. Enjoy!
