Donald Faison is practically a veteran in Hollywood. His film credits date all the way back to 2Pac 's Juice in 1992. Also, he played Stacey Dash 's boyfriend in the teen classic Clueless .

But we all remember Faison as Christopher Turk in Scrubs from 2001 - 2010 . Now, the native New Yorker is tacking a new genre, sci-fi, in the thriller Skyline .

In theaters today, the alien takeover flick takes place in Los Angeles. A group of friends are enjoying a night of partying when extraterrestrial forces land and threaten to annihilate all humans.

The film already has a buzz with its outlandish stunts, high-octane CGI and the direction of the Brothers Strause , who were also behind Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem and 50 Cent 's "Get Up." They also worked on some of the visuals for Avatar .
