Posted Aug. 13, 2007 -- Bring all the boys to the yard by merely fluttering your long, lush lashes. Here’s how to intensify and add depth to your eyes in three easy steps.
:: AD ::
MUST-HAVE: A good pair of tweezers, eyelash glue and lashes.
QUICK TIP: Start off with individual lashes instead of strip lashes, which are the most difficult to apply. Also, if you normally use mascara on your lashes to darken them, do so before attaching them.
STEP 1: Pick up the lashes with the tweezers.
STEP 2: Dip the tips of the lashes into a little glue.
STEP 3: Position the lash where you want the extra length and hold it in place until the glue sets.
NOTE: It’s a good idea to curl your natural lashes, so that they match the lashes you just set in place.
NEXT: How to Apply Lash Strips
Once you have mastered the individual lashes, you can move onto lash strips.
HERE’S HOW: Add a thin strip of glue to the lash strip; then apply the lash strip to the base of your natural lashes. Begin in the center and press firmly toward the outer corners. Apply mascara if desired.
NOTE: They can look fake if the application is not perfect.
