If you are the parent/legal guardian of an overweight girl and you know she simply needs encouragement to lose weight by learning how to make healthier lifestyle choices, here’s your chance to make it happen for her! If your girl deserves to have a lot of fun this summer, enter the “BET Summer Camp for Girls” Contest here, sponsored by The BET Foundation and General Mills.

The “BET Summer Camp for Girls” is a national contest to promote healthy living among girls ages 10 to12.

How To Enter The Contest
If you are a parent or legal guardian of a girl aged 10 to 12, you may enter in one of the following ways:
Up to 150 entries will be selected to participate in the BET Summer Camp for Girls.
The prize consists of an all-expense paid trip for your girl to the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana, AL, where she will have an opportunity to learn and participate in a fun-filled nutrition and fitness program, receive great gifts, enjoy the outdoors and camp activities, post-camp newsletters on health and fitness, and the opportunity to make new friends!
The selected winners (parent/legal guardian) are required to submit, on behalf of their girl, a doctor’s letter indicating that she is healthy enough to participate in a camp program and ready to start a weight loss program.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other commonwealths, territories and possessions).
Parent/legal guardian must be 21 years of age or older during the contest dates (May 1 – July 27, 2008). Girls of eligible parents/legal guardians must be between the ages of 10 -12 during the contest dates (May 1, 2008 – July 27, 2008). Click here for Contest Rules.
