The singer says she won’t be joining the competition as a judge.
Rumors have been swirling that Rihanna is the next big name to snag a coveted judging spot on Simon Cowell’s The X Factor, but unfortunately the singer had to turn down the offer. "It's something that I would have loved to do, actually. But it's a demanding schedule to be on that show,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. “You have to be around months at a time, which is impossible for me."
Tons of big celeb names have been dropped in the judging bucket (from Nicki Minaj to Snoop Dogg), yet only former Def Jam exec L.A. Reid and Cheryl Cole have actually confirmed. Guess we’ll have to wait and see who Cowell will choose when the show returns.
Auditions begin in Kansas City on April 15.
